Welcome to this week’s installment of Bike Carson Photos of the Week. Keep those great photos coming!
Hey, it’s a picture of me! This one was taken by Jesse Richardson on our spring exploration ride up above Lakeview and Washoe Valley. Seems like only yesterday we rode that. What a view that was!
Next up is our first non-local submission. This self portrait was taken by Brian Gurd from the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. Notice that classy Carson City Bike Habitat bottle in the cage! Brian joined us back in June for some riding up in Tahoe, and I got to visit his stomping grounds a week later! I didn’t have time to check out Brian’s trails, but he did hook me up with some great local beer. Check out the Michigan cycling world over on Brian’s blog.
“This is a bit close…” by Jeff Resler
And finally, we have another photo submitted by Jeff Resler. This is a photograph of a particularly tight section of the Flume Trail. All that beautiful scenery around, but there’s no looking at it here!
These pictures were selected from the Bike Carson Flickr Pool. Instructions for adding your photos to the pool can be found HERE.
Personally I would have chosen Brian’s photo of his Ridley in the leaves. Great color!
And miss out on seeing Brian’s knees? Are you crazy? The leaves picture was my first choice, but then decided on selecting this once since it was a bit different than the others I’ve posted. Less landscape and scene…more abstract. If you want to see great color, go check out Brian’s blog. It’s chocked full of fall color.
